Today I did a cute card using an Elizabeth Bell stamp, "You Have Mail" which I got from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design website. Since I wasn't feeling particularly creative, I used a kit I received from Robin Fulbrook during the MAGNOLIA-lious group April 2010 Kit Swap. I really love how this card turned out.

Father's Day

Today was Father's Day in the United States. I spent a quiet day coloring and making cards. This month for the MAGNOLIA-licious Mingle challenge, "Birthday card", I had a Mingle partner who lives in England. Much of the excitement of belonging to this group is that it is truly an international group and it's so much fun to be sending, and receiving, cards from all around the world. I used the Tilda with Heart Package, colored with Copics, of course.
I used the following Copics:
Dress: B24, B23, B21
Skirt: BG96, BG93
Skin: E02, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E25, E29, E31

Isabel's Birthday

Eight years ago today a very special event occurred, my first wonderful granddaughter, Isabel, was born. She was a fiesty baby who never stopped moving around. Eight years later she has turned into a lovely young lady who never stops moving and talking!! What a joy it is to be around Isabel.

This card is also my entry into the MAGNOLIA-licious group "Bling" challenge. It is made with the new Bubbling Tilda stamp which was a lot of fun to work with.

Today is a day to honor Edwin. I don't often get to make "boy" cards but when neighbor Ryan celebrated his 3rd birthday a couple months ago I made him my first Edwin card.

In a few days his big brother, Blair, is celebrating his 7th birthday so I made him a Pirate Edwin. It's a very simple easel card.

Oh my, I am not too sure what I was thinking when I launched my, primarily Magnolia blog, with a Bildmalarna stamp!! We will call it a "senior moment" filled with excited bliss.

Here is a Maggie birthday card I made for a member of the Yahoo Magnolia-licious Group. She was purchased at the MAGNOLIA-licious website.

I am so excited to be entering the world of blogging!!! The site is pretty basic, but with time I hope to expand it and make it a lovely place to visit.

Today I am adding a photo of one of my favorite cards. It was made for granddaughter Isabel's 2nd grade teacher as an end of the year thank you card. It is a Bildmalarna stamp called "Mimosa's Book" which I purchased online from Stamping Scrapping.
